Here are some links of interest for those interested in the Native American Flute:
Flutemakers-

My philosophy is this- you can't just eat one flavor of ice cream-you've got to try all the flavors you can, or
you're missing the whole reason for which ice cream is made.
The same goes for Native American style flutes- once you become a true "Flutie", you've got to collect from
as many different makers as possible. I think the variety of flutes available help you appreciate the heart and
soul of the Native American flute- a hand-crafted instrument made from soulful expression and for soulful
expression. Each flute has it's song to sing- each flutemaker has his talent to display. And I believe that
there's room for them all. I hope to obtain at least one from them all, too!
Here are a few flutemaker friends from Paltalk-

Danuwa analihi Adonvdo makes his own "Mother Earth Natural Branch Flutes"- one of which I am the proud
owner ! Each is unique-no two are alike. Very cool.

Mountain Flutes by Dennis Lombard- I didn't "test-drive" many flutes at the OKFlutefest last year, but I played
3 of Dennis'...wow ! His flutes show up on YouTube all the time!

Hawkeye's Nest is  where you can find Val Kobrin's creations- just look at what he can do with a sunflower
stalk! If you need a flute bag- talk to Val.

Shaman's Dream is the place for Mike Wamego's flutes and custom flute blanks for the discerning flutemaker,
his flute gallery makes the most hardened woodcrafter drool.

Four Wind Flutes- Brad Young has a large following- ask any flute player on Paltalk (they probably own one
of Brad's flutes). He makes beautiful flutes, and sure can play them...

Kieth Stanford's
Ki-e-ta flutemaking manual has probably helped launch the career of dozen's of the
flutemakers active today- they all sing his praises for the easiest-to-understand manual for the beginning
flutemaker. Oh- he makes a mighty fine flute as well- ask
Scott August.
